OCTOVO

OCTOVO really does six things: run the mailbox, look after appointments and contacts, edit files and receipts, carry out standing orders, remember what it has learned and — if you want — read along with what is on your screen.

What it can do

Six abilities, each with a page of its own

The difference from a chat window is not that OCTOVO can answer. The difference is that it actually sends the email, actually enters the appointment and actually files the invoice — and that afterwards you see why it did it that way.

Everything runs on your device.
The server checks your account and passes thinking requests along, nothing more.
Nothing happens in secret.
Every action sits in the log with trigger, reason and result.
Two things never without you.
Permanent deletion and anything that moves money.

The app

This is how it looks

Areas on the left, the conversation in the middle. Anything that leaves waits there for your yes.

The app window re-enacted Re-enacted app window with invented names. On the left, the sidebar with the areas Chat, Today, Jobs and Approvals, below them Memory, Connections, Files and Log. In the middle, a conversation: asked about outstanding invoices, OCTOVO answers with a summary and a bar chart of outstanding amounts per customer. Below that, a prepared email waits for approval — with Confirm and Decline buttons. At the bottom, the input field “What should I take on?”.
  1. Mailbox Read, classify, reply — in your tone.
  2. Calendar Create, move, estimate the drive in between.
  3. Files Edit Word, Excel, PDF — every version one click back.
  4. Receipts Recognise, collect, forward to your accountant.
  5. Contacts Address, role, history — as readable sentences.
  6. Web Search, compare, cite sources — with dates.
  7. Social Plan posts, answer comments.
  8. Orders Create from one sentence, pause any time.

The other half of the truth

What it cannot do is stated just as plainly

It doesn’t advise on legal, tax or medical questions — it collects, orders and drafts, others have to decide. Out of the box it doesn’t answer private WhatsApp messages itself: Meta forbids that, and your number would be at risk. You hand it the chat, it drafts, you send. You can still unlock it — with a sentence you have to type out that names exactly that consequence.

It sends no bulk advertising: more than 20 recipients per message never go out, nor do more than 50 outgoing messages per hour. It doesn’t work while your computer is off — it catches up on what it missed when you start it, and says when it should have run. And it covers nothing up: failed attempts are in the log too.
